Terms of Service

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms form an agreement between you and Bhargava Ganti, the operator of PodShorts in India. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use PodShorts for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and meet the minimum digital-consent age applicable where you live. Keep your credentials secure, provide accurate information, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. The Service

PodShorts lets users capture, process, organize, search, and reuse content. Features may be experimental, change over time, or be subject to usage limits. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, with reasonable notice for material changes when practicable.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant PodShorts a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transform, transcribe, index, embed, analyze, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and provide features you request.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content. Saving a public link does not give you ownership of the underlying work. Do not use PodShorts to bypass access controls, paywalls, platform restrictions, or copyright protections.

5. AI outputs

AI outputs may contain errors and are provided for assistance, not as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether and how to use them. Similar outputs may be provided to different users.

6. Acceptable use

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law, and third-party platform terms. We may rate-limit, restrict, remove, or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, providers, or third parties.

7. Plans, payments, and cancellation

Free and paid plans may have different limits. Before paid subscriptions launch, checkout will show price, taxes, billing period, and renewal terms. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not ordinarily refund an already-started billing period, except where law requires.

8. Intellectual property

PodShorts, its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by the operator or licensors. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer PodShorts intellectual property to you.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using PodShorts and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material or repeated violations, security threats, unlawful conduct, non-payment, or where continued service creates legal or operational risk. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect security, permanent storage, or accurate AI output. Keep independent copies of important material.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PodShorts and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of opportunity. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with jurisdiction over the operator’s principal place of business in India will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Contact hello@podshorts.in with questions or disputes.
