How to request deletion

Email hello@podshorts.in from the email address connected to your PodShorts account with the subject “Delete my PodShorts account”. Include only the account email and, if helpful, the authentication method you used. Do not send passwords or API keys.

An in-app deletion control will also be available under Settings → Account before the public mobile-store release. We may ask you to verify account ownership before completing deletion.

What we delete

• Your PodShorts account and profile.
• Saved memories, uploaded files, extracted content, summaries, tags, embeddings, collections, and AI conversations associated with your account.
• Associated product data held by our active service providers, where applicable and technically available.

Timing and limited retention

We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. Data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups cycle out. We may retain limited records where reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, disputes, or proof that a deletion request was fulfilled. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or Google; cancel it in the relevant store settings.
